The land of the rising sun hosts the epicenter of modern fashion: Tokyo. Throughout the different neighborhoods of Tokyo, you will observe a culture of fashion, which translates more in terms of urban fashion, as you walk down the street. The residents of Tokyo are quick to adapt to new trends, while keeping their own personal styles evident. It’s not a surprise that many designers, brands, and trendsetters come to Japan for inspiration. The Fashion In The City Team has compiled a list of places, that a lover of fashion cannot miss when visiting Japan!
One of the most famous neighborhoods in Tokyo is Harajuku. It has been a famous spot for creative minds since the 1980s. It is an iconic place that merges style and youth. Don’t be fooled by the store-fronts and lights; the real trends come directly from the young people, who quickly go from one trend to the next in a matter of months.

In Harajuku, the word “fashion” is taken very seriously, as it not only defines the clothes you wear, but your lifestyle. There are tons of cafes, restaurants and stores to accompany the lifestyle of the young people that walk through the neighborhood. One of the best knowns trends to come from Harajuku is the lolita style, in which girls are inspired by their childhood to create doll-like looks.
If you’re looking for luxury, the neighborhood of Ginza is without a doubt one of the most elegant parts of Tokyo. Ginza hosts several of the world’s premium brands throughout a few blocks, and the area is populated by lovers of maisons. One of the most important corners of the fashion world is between the streets of Harumi-dori and Chou-Dori which hosts one of the most exclusive stores in Japan: Wako. Founded in 1881, Wako is six stories high plus annexed stores, and sells a mix of apparel, jewelry, accessories, and anything that money can buy.
Aside from visiting this incredible fashion scene, you may want to simply visit the City of Tokyo! It is an unmissable travel spot to experience their amazing culture, great food and scenery of Tokyo, Japan.

Definitely believe that which you said. I say to you,
I get annoyed while people consider worries that they plainly don’t know about.
You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects, people could take a signal.
I will probably be back to get more. Thanks
